The Veeva Vault Release, 22R3, has now been implemented.

Over the last few weeks we’ve been looking at some of the new features included in the enhancements.

Across the Vault Platform, there have been several User Interface (UI) improvements, which is a trend we think will continue through 2023. Some key ones include:

  • Search: Precision Search Highlighting now returns results beyond the exact terms typed into the search box (including comparative terms and synonyms), resulting in more intuitive Search results.
  • Notifications: Users are now able to mark notifications as read on both desktop and Vault Mobile, so you never miss an alert.
  • Delegate Access: This feature is now available in all Vaults. If you are going to be out of the office for a period of time you can delegate your tasks to a colleague.
  • Reporting: A new feature allows users to visualize report data as a control chart.

One of the features we’ve found really enhanced the navigation of documents in the Library Grid view is the ability to freeze headers and columns. This means column names are always visible even when scrolling down the page of results. The ability to freeze columns makes horizontal scrolling easier, especially as the horizontal scroll bar is automatically available without having to navigate to the bottom of the results first.

The Multi-Record Workflow enhancements allows users to send multiple records (up to 100) on the same workflow. This increases productivity and improves the user experience for task participants. Enhancements have also been made to the user experience of the multi-document viewer within workflows. We explored these features in more detail here.

On the Modular Content front, changes have been made to the Claims object which adds a new configuration to PromoMats to make the creation, management, and usage of Text Assets (Claims & Reusable Text records) and Content Modules simpler and more intuitive.

Related to this is Enhanced Suggest Links. This feature improves the Suggest Links matching functionality and introduces the ability to build the Suggest Links action into the lifecycle process – the Suggest Links feature is now available from the Actions menu. Find out more here.
