The next Veeva Vault Release is deployed August 9th. We’ve been looking at some of the updates to determine which of these changes will have an impact on your end users.

Platform

The 24R2 Platform updates aim to improve user experience and efficiency by introducing new features such as advanced workflow actions, enhanced lifecycle state management, and improved task assignment options.

Users can now utilise Combination Charts within Dashboards allowing for an easier comparison of metrics compared against each other.

Security enhancements mean that VeevaID Users are required to use multi-factor authentication once every 30 days and Veeva Mobile Users who fail log-in using biometrics, are required to fully reauthenticate using their username and password.

PromoMats

PromoMats users will see new features for better compliance tracking, streamlined approval processes, and enhanced reporting capabilities.

MedComms

The new Scientific Communications Platform helps you define the scientific position, narrative, objectives, and core medical messages for products, therapeutic areas, indications or a combination thereof.

Quality

Key improvements involve better integration of quality processes, content, and training management. In QualityDocs, new features are introduced enabling more efficient document control. Users can now send a Document for Review or Approval to up to 3 External Collaborators and Admins are no longer prevented from deleting Documents with Controlled Copies.

Regulatory (RIM)

Regulatory Vault users will see key improvements regarding better integration with Health Authority systems, enhanced tracking of regulatory submissions, and improved management of regulatory documents.

With this release, Vault RIM streamlines the creation of Health Authority Question (HAQ) records by providing the ability to extract questions from correspondence documents.

Clinical Operations

Clinical Operations enhancements includes better integration options with other systems, improved compliance tracking, and more robust data security measures.

In this release, Study Person Responsibilities are introduced to keep track of the specific responsibilities each Study Person is assigned.
