With the upcoming implementation of Veeva Vault 24R3, we’ve been exploring new features that will be coming to the Veeva Vault Mobile App this December.

Veeva Quality Vault – QMS – Audit Room

Favoriting a Document

The upcoming ability to favorite a document directly within the Veeva Vault Mobile App allows users to efficiently manage favourited documents without requiring web access. This feature is particularly valuable for users who depend on favourite Document notifications to stay updated.

By enabling Document favouriting on mobile, users can streamline their workflows, ensuring they always have quick access to critical content, even when working remotely or in areas with limited connectivity. This enhances productivity and ensures that users can stay engaged with important updates, making the app more versatile and user-friendly.

Open Binders in Web

The ability to Open Binders in Web allows Veeva Vault Mobile App users to open Binders directly in a browser from the app, addressing the challenges posed by limited in-app Binder navigation.

By providing a seamless transition to a browser-based view, this feature reduces friction and potential confusion, enabling users to access and navigate Binders more effectively.

For users managing complex documentation or workflows, this ensures greater efficiency and flexibility, making it easier to work with Binders in a way that aligns with their needs, regardless of the app’s navigation constraints.

Show Timeline View

The Show Timeline feature will become available on the Vault Mobile app, allowing users to review Document history and track the status of tasks within a workflow.

This functionality provides a comprehensive overview of a Document’s progression and associated actions, ensuring that users can stay informed about updates and monitor workflow progress directly from their mobile devices.

For Veeva Vault Mobile App users, this enhances transparency, supports better decision-making, and boosts productivity by offering real-time insights into Document activities, all within the convenience of the Mobile app.

Site Selector Support (SiteVault)

The upcoming Site Selector Support feature will enable SiteVault users to view and change their site context directly within the app through a new site selector at the top of each tab.

This functionality filters Library results based on the selected site, ensuring that users only see relevant information for their current context. By aligning the mobile app experience with the web browser, this feature enhances usability and consistency, making it easier for users to manage site-specific tasks efficiently while on the go. It streamlines workflows, reduces confusion, and supports better organization for SiteVault users.

Blur Vault Mobile App when in the Background

This upcoming feature will enhance security by blurring the app’s content when it is sent to the background, like the functionality seen in banking apps. This ensures that sensitive or confidential information remains protected from unintended viewing when the app is minimized or when users switch between applications.

For Veeva Vault Mobile App users, this feature provides peace of mind, safeguarding data privacy and reinforcing trust in the app’s security measures, especially when handling critical or proprietary information.
