With the upcoming implementation of Veeva Vault 24R3, we’ve been exploring the enhancements to PromoMats and how this may affect your end users.
Modular Content
Content Modules now feature on-demand Previews valid for 24 hours, aiding review by rendering against pre-defined HTML templates. Reviewers can complete workflow tasks directly on the Content Module app page, with the workflow banner visible if single record workflows are enabled. CRM Email Module previews are now generated asynchronously and accessed via a notification link, valid for 24 hours.
These updates aid the review and approval of documents and provide improved usability of the PromoMats system.
*New* Created From Relationship
This release introduces the Created From document relationship. When a user copies a document, Vault captures the original document in this relationship, similar to the Based On relationship. However, unlike Based On, additional documents can be added to the Created From relationship via the API or manually through the UI after the document is created, providing end users with greater visibility of the source documentation.
CRM x PowerPoint
The CRM Slide Notes field now auto-populates in PromoMats Vaults when generating a multi-slide presentation from a PowerPoint (.PPTX) source file using the Create Presentation feature.
This eliminates the need for users to manually input their slide notes into the document metadata fields for use in Veeva Vault or Vault CRM.
Reference Anchors
When a document used for linked annotations, such as a reference, is updated to a new version, the persistent text anchors on Claims automatically update to reflect the latest version details. The previous version of the document is moved to a new section on the Claim record called Archived References.
This serves to maintain a record of previous versions of updated reference documents ensuring there is a historical trail of document versions available for review and compliance purposes.
